K3は1ヶ月を通して、等身大のBody tracingの製作に取り組みました。

K3 class worked on making a life sized body portrait this month.

自分の体のサイズに合わせて、kindyのユニフォームを作るのは本当に難しかったようで、大きさや形を完成させるまでに苦戦をしていました。

The kids struggled on making the right sized clothes to fit the big body.

大切なことは上手に作ることではなく自分で考えてあきらめずにやり切ること！だと思います。

But the most important point is not the outcome of the craft itself, but for the kids to keep trying without giving up.

完成した作品は、とてもとても可愛くできあがりました

All of the body portraits turned out very unique! Great job K3!

昨日はお天気が心配されましたが、無事にSchool Tripを行うことができました。

広くて緑豊かな公園は、ほとんど人がいなくて貸し切り状態

のびのび遊ぶことができました！

We were worried about the weather, but we were able to go on our school trip yesterday.

We had the big park all to ourselves!

ランチタイムは、慣れないレジャーシートの上での食事なので、苦戦している子も

We had lunch on a picnic mat, and since kids were not used to eating this way, some struggled.

School Tripの日には食べやすいランチだと子供達は遊ぶ時間が増えてうれしいと思います

On school trips, kids would be able to eat faster and play more with lunch that is easy to eat.

今回のSchool Trip中、K2K3の子供達はK1の子供達の手を引いて一緒に遊んだり、怖がっているときは助けたりお手本をみせたり、ブランコでは背中を押してあげるような姿をたくさん見ることができました。

During this school trip, K2 and K3 kids looked very mature as they held K1 kids’ hands when they were playing, helped kids that were afraid of something, and they pushed their backs on the swings.

来年はK1の子供達が小さいお友達を助けてくれるようになっていると思います。

このような縦のつながりは大切ですね！

By next year, K1 kids will be able to help others too!

本日は午前中に平和公園へ行きました。

We went to Heiwa Park today.

途中桜がきれいに咲いていて、花びらが雪のように落ちてきて、

子供達と歩きながらcatchしたりしながら、束の間のお花見を楽しみました

On the way to the park, cherry blossom petals were falling from the trees,

and kids had fun catching them.

公園では、ボールやフリスビーで遊んだり、ブランコやお砂場、滑り台など、

体を動かして楽しく遊びました

At the park, they played with balls and frisbees,

played on the swings and slides and in the sandbox,

and enjoyed moving around.

27日、K3の子供達のGraduation ceremonyを行いました。

コロナ禍での困難な状況の中、K3の子供達は常に笑顔で、優しく、下級生にお手本となる行いを見せてくれました。

We had our graduation ceremony for our K3 kids on the 27th.

During these hard times of COVID-19, K3 kids have cheered everyone up with their smiles,

and have been kind to everyone, and they surely showed a good example to our K1 and K2 kids.

セレモニーでは、素晴らしいスピーチを見せてくれて、今思い出しても胸がいっぱになります。

立派に成長してくれました

新しい環境でも、それぞれが立派にやっていけると、自信を持って送り出せます。

Their speech was wonderful, and we still feel emotional just by thinking about it.

We are confident that they will do well wherever they go.

これでKindergartenは卒園となりますが、私達はいつでも顔をみせてくれるのを楽しみに待っています

また会いましょう

From now on, they are Kindy graduates,

but we are hoping to see them drop by and show us their happy smiles again.

春をテーマにランチマットを製作しています

They are making spring themed lunch mats.

自分達でラミネートをして完成です

Level 2 class students laminated their lunch mats.

カラフルな春らしいランチマットが出来上がり、子供達は満足そうです

スプリングスクールのレベル1に参加しているPre schoolの子供達はすっかり先生にも慣れて楽しくおもちゃで遊んでいます。

Kids from preschool are attending spring school level 1, and they are enjoying playing with the teacher.

お勉強の合間のリラックスタイムです

Play time after doing worksheets seems to be very relaxing for them!

ランチのあと、レベル1のクラスはお名前のwritingの練習をしています。

After lunch, level 1 class practiced writing their names.

自力でワークシートに名前や日付を書くことは、まだ難しい作業だとは思いますが、

真剣に取り組んでいて、子供達のやる気が伝わってきます

Writing their names and dates on every worksheet still seems difficult,

but you can see that they’re trying very hard.

kindy生になる心の準備はできているようで嬉しく思いました

We were happy to see that they are getting ready to come to Kindy.

ワークシートの後はSong timeです。

After worksheets is Song time.

たくさん歌って踊って体を動かします！

本日は暖かく公園日和です

kindy生、spring schoolの子供達、みんなで中原平和公園へ遊びにきています。

Today was a sunny nice day to play at the park.

Kindy students and spring school students together went to Heiwa Park.

ブランコやジャングルジム、お砂遊びや滑り台、体を動かして楽しんでいます

Kids are enjoying playing on the swings, the jungle gym, in the sandbox, and on the slides.

サッカーをして先生と遊んでいる子もいます

Some kids are playing soccer with the teacher.

今日もたくさん遊び、たくさん学ぶ1日です

We are going to play and learn a lot today!
