Summer holidays are over and it’s the first day of school!

K3 did some cooking on World Culture Day.

夏休みが終わり、スクール初日！

K3はWorld Culture Dayでクッキングをしました。

This month is the tropical island, Samoa

今月は常夏の国、Samoaです

Taisi Moa, which is chicken baked in the oven with coconut milk, Char Siu sauce, soy sauce and thinly sliced bananas, was served with rice. We were worried about the unfamiliar smell and taste, but all the children loved it!

Taisi Moaという、チキンをココナッツミルクやチャーシューソース、お醤油、薄切りにしたバナナなどと一緒にオーブンで焼きいたものをご飯と一緒にいただきましま。かなり馴染みのない香りと味にどうなることやら…と心配していたのですが、

They said “It’s soooo delicious!” as they ate it!

Some of the children even had three servings

子ども達は全員It’s soooo deliciousと食べてくれました！

中には3回もおかわりしてくれた子も

The children seemed to love the sweet smell of coconut milk and bananas

子ども達にはココナッツミルクやバナナの甘い香りがたまらない様子でした
